The Reginald F. Lewis Kappa Alpha Psi Inc., Alpha Phi Chapter Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Endowed Scholarship has been established at Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia for deserving students. The endowment fund is funded solely by tax-deductible gifts, and the goal is to contribute $100,000 within ten years. To assist the fund, all Kappa men and others have been kindly asked to donate $100 or more each year for a ten year period. The alumni are made up of leaders who achieved in their college days, and continue to achieve today. 

Donations are still being accepted, and should be made payable to the Virginia State University Foundation with KAPSI / Reginald F. Lewis Scholarship in the memo line.  Mrs. Loida Lewis and Mrs. Carolyn Fugett donated $25,000 dollars from the Reginald F. Lewis Foundation, Inc, and Brother Billy Taylor contributed $10,000 dollars recently. This is monumental in that it creates a legacy for every brother made at (Alpha Phi), Virginia State University since 1935.
